These General Conditions of Sale (hereafter the “GCS”) constitute the rules to which the Société fermière du Château Bellegrave, referred to hereafter as the “Château Bellegrave”, makes the sales of all of its wines and ancillary products, referred to hereafter as “the products”, subject.
Consequently, the fact that the purchaser places an order on the website, by mail, e-mail or telephone, implies the unreserved acceptance or restriction of these GCS.
The GCS are binding on the purchaser who acknowledges that, by ticking a box provided for that purpose, that he/she has taken note of them and accepted them before placing an order.
The sale of the products is only accessible to registered purchasers who hold an account. The registration procedure is carried out per the terms and conditions below:
To register on the www. bellegrave-pomerol.com website, the purchaser must be an individual of legal age who has the legal capacity to enter into a contract and who is a consumer within the meaning of French ordinance No. 2016-301 of 14 March 2016.
When registering, the purchaser must provide a valid e-mail address and password, as well as personal information.
For each of the products offered for sale, a short description is given on the website. The photos that illustrate the products’ description are given for information purposes and are not contractual.

The online sale offers presented on the website are reserved for purchasers residing in Metropolitan France and the European Union, England and Switzerland, and for deliveries in that same geographical area.
Château Bellegrave may refuse the benefit of its offers to any natural or legal person who proves to be or represent a professional dealer.
Château Bellegrave reserves the right to cancel or refuse a purchaser’s order with whom a legal dispute exists concerning payment for a previous order.
Products are offered and delivered up to the limit of available stocks.
All orders are effective from the date that the purchaser’s account is debited.
Our prices are deemed to be inclusive of all taxes and are expressed in euros.
They are applicable for the period of validity mentioned on our commercial offers (except for “en primeur” sales which refer to a wine sold several months after the harvest while still in barrels).
The products ordered are supplied at the price in force at the time of order registration.
Products are shipped to the purchaser via the carrier selected by Château Bellegrave. They are to be delivered to the address indicated by the purchaser at the time of the order.
Château Bellegrave is committed to making every effort to deliver the products ordered in the shortest possible time.
Unless an exceptional free delivery offer by Château Bellegrave, a lump sum contribution to the shipping costs is required for all orders below 450 euros, including VAT. Delivery costs are free for orders over 450 euros, including VAT.
Delivery occurs within 10 to 15 working days from receipt of the order by our services – standard delivery service.
Products are delivered all at once to one single address.
Packaging depends on the quantity of wine ordered. Our goods are carefully checked and packaged to guarantee the safety of transport before shipment.
It is the recipient’s responsibility to take up all reservations with the carrier in the event of damage, shortages, etc. If applicable, the purchaser should also contact Château Bellegrave (Monday to Friday) to manage the return and replacement of the parcel.
If no report has been made to the carrier by the recipient at the time of delivery, the order will be considered compliant and free from any damage.
In the event of a specific request from the purchaser concerning the product packaging, conditioning or transport of the ordered products, additional costs may apply. Château Bellegrave will then send you a quote for acceptance.
Pursuant to the provisions of the French Consumer Code, the purchaser has a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of his/her order to advise the Société fermière du Château Bellegrave of his/her withdrawal. The purchaser shall undertake the return of goods, for exchange or reimbursement, at the purchaser’s choice, provided that the complete order of goods is returned in its original packaging, and perfect condition, within fourteen (14) days of notification to Château Bellegrave of the purchaser’s decision to withdraw.
Complete order of the goods is to be returned to Château Bellegrave, lieu-dit René, 33500 Pomerol FRANCE, in its original packaging (packaging, accessory, package leaflet, etc.), together with the original invoice.
Should some products be soiled, damaged or incomplete, they shall not be exchanged or deducted from the purchaser’s reimbursement, unless such damages were reported at delivery. Return costs remain the responsibility of the purchaser.
The purchaser can exercise his right of withdrawal by sending a message via the contact form. An acknowledgement of receipt will be forwarded to the purchaser by Château Bellegrave.
Château Bellegrave undertakes to reimburse, within fourteen (14) days of the receipt of all returned goods, all of the expenses incurred by the purchaser: the price of the products plus the return costs for shipping out the product(s), provided that they are returned in the condition in which they were received.
Château Bellegrave states that it complies with the provisions of the amended French Data Protection Act 78-17 of 6 January 1978. Personal data is subject to computerised processing for the purpose of customer relations. The recipients of said data is the Société Fermière du Château Bellegrave. In accordance with the French law on Data Protection and Civil Liberties of 6 January 1978, amended in 2004, website visitors and purchasers have the right to access, correct and object to the information concerning them. In accordance with Article L3342-1 of the French Public Health Code and French Law No. 2009-879 of 21 July 2009, the purchaser certifies, when placing the order, that he/she is eighteen (18) years old or older at the date of the order by notifying his/her date of birth when creating his/her account. ALCOHOL ABUSE IS DANGEROUS FOR YOUR HEALTH.
These General Conditions of Sale are subject to French law.
In the event of a dispute of any nature, dispute or difficulty in interpreting these GCS, the purchaser shall address the issue in priority to the commercial service of the Château Bellegrave to find an amicable solution.
In the event of a failure of the negotiations, the Tribunal de Commerce de Libourne (Commercial court of Libourne) shall be the sole competent court for any dispute arising from the application of these GCS.
If the GCS should be translated into a foreign language, the French language shall take precedence over any other translation in the event of dispute, lawsuit, difficulty in interpreting or performing the General Conditions of Sale.
