Château Matignon 2014 flourished under an oceanic climate very typical of Bordeaux. A beautiful but rather cool summer with timely quenching seasonal rainfall gave this vintage its lovely tannic structure with a fresh and fruity edging.
Robe (Colour): Deep purple
Aroma (Nose): A festival of fresh fruits
Palate (Mouth): A superb tannic structure marks this red, revealing hints of minty flavours and a finish leaning toward a toasted bread note
Wine Pairing Suggestion: To be discovered without delay with stews, red meat, charcuterie, Salers or Comté cheeses, and heavenly chocolate desserts.
